Twilight by Stephanie Meyer

I enjoyed this - I don't know that it's good, but it is easy to read. Sometimes it's ridiculous but that, I suppose, goes with the territory, and it wasn't as if I wasn't expecting it. So no surprises.

I know there are a lot of girls who are really into this. I can't say it got me that way - there's too much perfection in the characters for them to interest me, and I'm just not that invested in the relationship between Edward and Bella. And actually I find the idea of being in love with someone who really wants to eat you quite creepy. But what do I expect from a teenage vampire novel?
